Very lovely. Staff were wonderful- we even got a free sausage for our dog! Very nice food and very reasonable prices. The pecan, maple and banana french toast was very very nice.

A very nice cafe. Friendly staff. The tea pots look great! Large toasted teacake, served with butter. The cheesy chips were tasty. The bowl of chips was just enough, not overpowering. Busy with a nice feel.

I only had a latte, but it was magnificent! And the little brownie that came with it was delicious. We'll definitely come back to try the food.

Visited twice over the weekend when we were in the area. Wish we lived locally! The sausage sandwiches are simply the best we have ever tried. The bread was divine and the portions extremely generous. The coffee, tea and hot chocolate is first class. Prices very reasonable indeed and excellent service too. Look forward to visiting again to try some other things on the menu

Breakfast stop on a bike tour of North Yorkshire. Two of us had the bacon sandwich and one had the Cesar salad. The food was excellent and the drinks are really well presented, the small brownie with the coffee or tea simply topped the enjoyment. The welcome and service were very friendly, we will definitely come again. For the quality of food and surroundings I would describe the prices as very reasonable.

We called here without knowing anything about it and ordered the cheese scone with cream cheese and pickle. We couldn’t have chosen anything more appetising. The scone was warm and full of cheese and the cream cheese, butter and pickle came in individual little tubs. It was delicious. It was a hot day and they brought us iced water to drink. Pleasant and cheerful staff.
