Chipotle Mexican Grill

Don't let the negative reviews keep you from eating here. I have eaten at a countless amount of Chipotle's, and this one has to be one of the best. I feel a lot of the negative feedback is more out of rage due to the fact another Mexican food place was opening up. If you think the food is cold, have them make it fresh from the grill. I waited an extra 4 mins for fresh grilled veggies. The portions are massive. If you feel you need extra beans or whatever polity, ask them for more. Keep asking for more until you are satisfied with the portion. Some of the staff is new, don't be so hard on them. They are still learning. While learning and making your food, they still have a great attitude. I was definitely impressed, and at first, I let the reviews keep me away. I am so glad I decided to give it a try so I could form my own opinion.

Same delicious flavor as always, a lot closer to home! However...I thought the reviews were lying to defend queso times but unfortunately the portion sizes are indeed ridiculously small. I usually have half a bag of chips left when I'm done but this time there was so few that I ate the whole bag. They were great and salty though. And in the burrito bowl they gave good amounts of meat and stuff...but they were weirdly very stingy on the rice. Everything felt half sized. But the people were nice and the order was ready when it was supposed to be.

Came by here this morning to see how the new chipotle is. My husband and I arrived soon after opening. I had a salad and he had a burrito bowl. We also shared guacamole and chips. We were hoping for some fresh food but our chips were stale. We assume they’re left over from yesterday. The guacamole was good. They were very light on their portions. My husband ordered several items on the bar but despite that his food was under halfway up the bowl. They then put on a massive amount of sour cream so when eating it that was all you could taste. Some of my chicken in my salad tasted raw and too soft. When ordering I had asked for 2 meats. She asked if I wanted half and half or double. I said half and half. She proceeds to put a very small amount of beef (even removing some more from the tongs as she took it out) then puts 3 pieces of their chicken on it. I then just ask for double meat instead. All of the ingredients excluding the guacamole tasted just slightly off or bad as if they were from the previous day. We came early in the day hoping it would all be fresh. Every syrup on the pop machine was out as well and the person rolled her eyes when my husband mentioned it to her. It was not busy at the time we came. Maybe they will figure it out as they go but right now it was the worst chipotle I have had. And at $39 for a bowl, a salad, one drink, and chips with guacamole I probably won’t come back to see if it’s better. I’m very happy we have several Hispanic restaurants in town owned by actual Hispanic people who make wonderful food.

I picked up a mobile order. The staff was great, super friendly. My order was ready by the time set on the app & the burrito bowl itself was very full (a little less rice than I would like but tons of meat and everything else) the chips weren’t very fresh but it was pretty late in the evening so I’m not surprised or disappointed they were still good.

My family of four dined here and the food was really good, portions were as expected, and the service was great. The team behind the counter was polite, and we were happy with our experience.

Went on opening day, so the store was busy but clean and staff were friendly. Service was quick and food was good. Portions were a bit slim compared to other locations, but nothing to complain about.

The trash was filled all the way to the top ! The food cold and no flavor ! Queso Time is better ! And cheaper !!

Thrilled with the food quality, convenient location, and outstanding customer service! This is exactly what Winchester, KY has been waiting for — can’t wait to see more businesses like this come to our community!
