Beautiful pub with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating including a children’s play area. Beautiful decoration, seating and atmosphere, every bartender, waiter and host was naturally friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome. We were wanting a roast dinner to end the bank holiday and found this gem. For 15 quid you get freshly cooked meats and veg of your choice, we opted for the beef which was tender, juicy and flavoursome. All sides were self serve, freshly replaced and the veg was cooked to perfection, greens were green and not soggy and wilted, an array of sauces and gravies to choose from and a HUGE Yorkshire pudding, served on a hot plate. We were over the moon, will definitely become regulars!

Had a carvery from here and it was excellent. Went again a couple of days later and had their 10oz sirloin steak rare with triple cooked chips which tasted amazing, the sirloin was a bit chewy but still excellent. The staff are lovely here but it's annoying they put service charge on the bill which is not needed in the UK.

At last a carvery that delivers on taste and quality. The meats are tender and the vegetables have texture. The Yorkshire pudding take up half your plate so are made for fillings. Finished off with proper meat juice based gravy. It is absolutely delicious. All this is then enhanced by clean spacious surroundings and excellent staff who are just the right amount of attentive. Could only give five stars.

Absolutely fantastic pub,quality of food is very good and staff are really helpful and cheerful. The young lady that served us was fantastic and a real asset to the pub. Prices reflect the quality of the food which is really good. What was great too was that we were asked if anyone had any allergies or dietary requirements which is rare in most pubs. I would highly recommend visiting if in the area. Plenty of on site parking too.

Amazing place for vegans! We had the plant based carvery with vegan chicken, the staff were so helpful and clearly explained which veg was suitable for vegans. The food was absolutely delicious, and both our server, Nancie and the manager (we didn't catch his name🤦‍♀️) were really attentive and made sure we had a great experience. If you’re vegan or vegetarian and missing a classic Sunday roast, you have to come here! 🙏♥️

Great Sunday roast, the veg the meat the roast potatoes I’ve had a lot of Sunday roasts and this was really excellent. Also the service was second to none. Frank was an absolute gent. First time at a carvery that the service asked if we want a top on potatoes or gravy.

The restaurant is beautiful, warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and there is a play area for the children. The only thing that disappointed me is a 10% tip it’s automatically included in the bill. This can be quite a large amount when you’re paying for 3 courses for a family of 5 or more, it was not mentioned by staff when it came to payment, and when one member of our party noticed it on her bill and asked for this to be removed, the staff member looked disgusted and was reluctant to remove it stating that most people just pay it without saying anything.

once to went to the reception they will immediately looked for you a table even you dont have a reservation. staff is always happy and approciable especially Jess.
