Lovely little cafe which a lot of spacious seats and outside seating for those Sunny days 😀 also free parking car park at the back of building. Food was lovely and a vast amount too. 👍🏻

What a gem to drop onto whilst driving through Buxton. Definitely worth a stop if you want a bite to eat. Excellent spot A clean plate because the food was that good

Absolutely brilliant!! Came to the rescue of a couple of tourists who had been let down badly by the quality & service of a local chain hotel .... quick Google and ended up here and so glad we did. Great food, excellent and friendly service and superb value for money Tried to convince them open a branch where we live 😂

Called in for a breakfast but the previous diner at our table had left most of hers so we decided on a bacon butty and poached eggs on toast plus drinks. What we should have done was try somewhere else instead. Coffee was almost undrinkable and the the food arrived. The bacon butty was the worst I’ve ever had and the poached eggs we only a little better. The main complaint was the owner was stroking dogs and feeding them with titbits and then going back to the kitchen area and serving drinks without washing his hands. Dogs were barking almost all the time, a previous reviewer has likened it to a kennels. One dog owner had her dog on her knee and it’s front paws on the table. We should have read the reviews before going in. We will definitely not be returning, to show how bad everything was we went across the road for a McDonalds coffee to take the taste away.

Our latest visit wasn’t a great experience. Two reasons. Why do people want to take their dogs when they want to dine out ? It’s odd. Felt like a kennel in this place. It’s a tiny place and sorry but it should be ‘No Dogs’ I have a dog and wouldn’t dream of taking her to a cafe ! We used to come here regularly but it’s going downhill. Food was good but not as good as it used to be. Dogs everywhere one of which was constantly barking. Sorry but the whole idea of eating out is to have a chilled out nice calm experience. Why do you let dogs in ? Second reason. Took forever to be served. I get it is always busy in here but prioritise your customer. If it’s busy don’t keep chatting to everyone. When we did finally place our order I Asked for a cappuccino & Hot Chocolate. The owner even wrote this down on his pad. Came back eventually with Hot chocolate & an Americano and I was asked if I wanted hot or cold milk to which I replied I ordered a cappuccino ? Then he went away and forgot to make my drink. I had to ask again for it when the food arrived. Maybe if he wasn’t busy socialising with everyone he would manage to get a drink correct and remember to serve it ? Just so disappointed. Don’t want to slate this place as the food is generally good but when it’s a treat to eat out these days and you pay £25 for breakfast you want good service and a relaxing atmosphere. It was far from it. Don’t think we will be rushing back now. Such a shame
