Choo Choo is unique to our metro, because most Mex places here are pretty tame, trying to please people who are perhaps timid about the cuisine. This place focuses on the flavors of the food, and also makes available traditional cuts, i.e., buche and cabeza, that other places won't even offer. That alone makes them one of the top Mex destinations around. Why be like everyone else, right...?

This might be my new favorite spot. My girlfriend put the birria tacos on her #1 spot and i had a carne asada torta which was really good! Great flavor on the steak and toppings. And they serve drinks so thats an added plus for us. We love a margarita with our lunch

My amazing husband ordered me a 3 fish tacos, that comes with fride beans and spanish rice., French fries and horchata on the side. He ordered to go, the fish tacos are amazing, soft very delicious and not hard like in most fast food joints. The rice and beans also very delicious, perfection. I would recommend this place to anyone. Wait time is not long. Service is great! Craving fish tacos? go there, you'll taste the actual food, that is healthier and not soaked in grease oil. Thank you Choo Choo torts for delicious meal. :)

It was our first time going to this place, we showed up 30min before they were closing. They were super helpful and friendly! The strawberries and cream dessert is super yummy. Everything they have is basically homemade, they do homemade syrups and homemade horchata. 10/10 love this place and will definitely come back

This is the go-to spot, hands down, the best Tortas in Spokane, and they make the best-tasting Paloma I've ever had! When we go out to eat, which isn't often, more often than not, we go to Choo Choo's. When our family visits from Moses lake, Tri-Cities, or Yakima they want to go here if we go out it's the closet to home-cooked meal when eating out. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is excellent. I even hear the cooks having a great time!

My wife and I ordered from Choo-Choo's a couple days ago, had it delivered. Everything was awesome. I had the chicken quesadilla, and it was incredible. Wife had a carne asade burrito, and was incredibly impressed with it. Also got chips and salsa, the chips were fresh and crispy, seasoned just right. This might be our new favorite spot. Highly recommend. Edit: we just ordered from here again, i got the chicken quesadilla, there wasn't any chicken in it, just cheese. $14.95 for a greasy, cheese only quesadilla was really disappointing. Also, my wife's order was missing the beans she ordered.
