My daughter had an absolutely amazing birthday party at The Steel Cauldron! The staff were incredibly funny, friendly, and entertaining, making the whole event a truly magical experience. They were fantastic with the kids, keeping them engaged in all the activities, especially the wand-making. The building itself is beautiful, well-thought-out, and wonderfully decorated with a wizard theme. Thank you for such a memorable day!

Unfortunately not the experience we we're expecting reading other reviews. Don't use the groupon vouchers called a few times to book in and check it was all booked was told yes several times when we arrived we wasnt expected, we were told on the phone they receive the codes directly from Groupon we found on the day one was missing of the three paid for ,So had to pay more on the day after already paying out £51.99 (couldn't re buy on the day so was going to be an expensive misshap)we went for the Enchanted afternoon tea for 4 which Unfortunately was anything but Enchanted. sandwiches not good fillings not the best thick bread fillings nasty, the sweet things was nice and enjoyed but the savoury to sweet ratio wasn't good. The tables were all covered in paint like a child's nursery, staff forgot to bring tea that was asked for so we eneded up leaving and paying elsewhere for drinks. All in all mostly gutted for the bride to be as this was a surprise hen party and it was totally ruined.

Visited today with my mom, sister and brother in law. We had such an amazing time, food was beautiful and the crafting was really good fun. Best part? The owners. They put so much effort in and it really shows, the service and atmosphere was outstanding, the decor is amazing, the gift shop is full of quirky little bits and pieces for a very reasonable price. I wish we lived closer, it’s been a lovely treat. Highly recommend ✨

We came here because the cafe is advertised on google maps and social media as being an owl cafe. We saw zero owls. We paid an advance £5 per person (£20 total) just to sit in a cafe and see the same amount of owls as we would in Costa. We ordered drinks and a salted caramel brownie. My hot chocolate was left sitting until it was barely lukewarm and the cream had melted all down the side of the cup, and the £5.50 gluten free brownie was clearly made with sand, perhaps they thought this was required to make it gluten free? Go to the beach and trip face first into the sand to get the same result. The table was sticky and covered in old food and the floor under our table was filthy. Extremely disappointed, consider reevaluating your marketing strategy and miss out the blatant lies.

Unfortunately not a great visit. I came as part of a hen do of 12 people, although I did not organise it. Upon my arrival, my sister who had planned along with her friend were flustered as the cafe were not expecting us and had nothing ready at all. On top of that only 2 out of 3 Groupon codes were taken, despite it being booked for 3 months, several phone calls made asking if they needed the codes in advance. We had Enchanted Teas for the whole table but we're short of 2 due to third voucher not being used and they could not honour it. Food was average, nothing I couldn't make myself. Nice sweet treats but way too many sweets compared to savoury. The enchanted tea consisted of 2 1/2 sandwiches, scone, 2 cake slices, 2 brownie slices, 2 chocolate flapjack pieces, popcorn, jelly beans, pretzels, chocolate frog. Unsure how many this is meant to serve as it doesn't specify on the menu but I would guess at 2? 1/2 a sandwich each is not enough per person. Coffee machine not working. Constantly had to grab attention of staff for more plates, tea and water which never arrived. So what was meant to be a joyful experience for the bride to be ended up being a stressful and unrelaxing. Unfortunately won't be returning.

We have had such a magical morning, it has been amazing. The people are what help to make the magic come alive and make it so welcoming with unique spell and interactions as well as the beautifully decorated rooms and shop. The food is delicious and magically presented as well as the wide range of drinks available. There is also a few vegan and gluten free options for those that need it too. We also had chance to watch the breath taking owl show with some wonderful facts about each performer. The craft options are also beautiful and engaging throughout the whole process and you can take as much or little time as you would like. As for the location you cant miss the purple building with easy parking behind it on the raised car park.

My partner took me for afternoon tea here three weeks ago. It was absolutely amazing. The decor, the staff and the food/drinks. The entertainment was very unexpected and we loved every minute of it. What was meant to be "about an hour" date, turned into 3hrs. Brilliant friendly staff, they catered for food allergies and intolerances amazingly. We shall see you soon Oh and I forgot to mention how educational the lovely lady who owns the owns and other creatures was.
