I had high hopes for this place, but it was a big letdown. Every single dish we ordered was overly sweet — even the ones that are supposed to be savory or spicy. It felt like they use the same base sauce for everything. On top of that, the prices were way too high for the portion sizes and the quality of food. Definitely not worth it.

I went to this restaurant last night. We have been meaning too since it opened and it was great. The food was delicious, staff were great and the restaurant was lovely and clean. We will be coming again.

We came here for my friend’s graduation dinner and we enjoyed everything that was served. From the rice, to the chicken, vindaloo and the Naan bread. The sticky toffee pudding was such a generous portion size it could feed 3! ☺️

We had a takeaway from Amesbury Tandoori Restaurant last night and it was excellent. Lamb Rogan Josh, pilau rice, keema nan and poppadoms. The portions were plentiful and the lamb was lean and tender. It all felt freshly cooked and was very tasty. Often people ruin the lamb but it was cooked to perfection. We were very happy with everything and if you order on line you get a 10% discount. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We noticed that the restaurant was very busy even at 7.30 and there was a nice ambience.

Ate here for the first time and found it be be very tasty. service was also good for most part except for one. I did notice the server serving the food with his thumb in every bowl which was a bit off putting.

Oh my gosh has to be one of the best Indians we have had in ages. So good. The flavours were amazing and just so fresh and lite.

Because of lack of time, I cannot say this is the best restaurant in Amesbury... BUT, we have been more than pleased to have a dinner in Amesbury Tandoori. Are you looking for a place for dinner? Do not hesitate. Amesbury will not disappoint you. Food, drinks, service, everything excellent
