I'd give this hotel about 3.5 stars. The AC Hotel in Westport was fine for our one night stay but I don't think I'd stay longer than that. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great. The bathroom is really small and has one of those big glass doors that doesn't actually shut all the way. Sink and mirror are basically in the room, which is just odd. The room just feels pretty stark. The area near the elevator smelled kind of musty and one of the two elevators was being worked on. The front desk staff however were super friendly and helpful and we liked the gated parking. Location is great and I'd stay here again for one night if we needed to stay in Westport.

This was my first visit to Kansas and my first stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The room was extremely stuffy – the windows were sealed shut and there was no proper ventilation. The shower had such weak water pressure that it was impossible to wash my hair properly. The phone to contact the front desk was broken, the hair dryer didn’t work, and there wasn’t even a single wardrobe or nightstand to put my things on – I had to keep everything in my suitcase the whole time. Definitely not worth the stay.

We decided to take a spontaneous trip to KC from Des Moines and it was quite late when we called- the staff was incredibly helpful with reservations and was more than happy to have us check in even as late as 2am to accommodate us. Once we got there we had to go in to check in before parking…this is when it started going downhill.. you are required to pay $15 a night to park in THEIR OWN parking lot. We got things sorted, parked, and I will say it was a secure parking lot so that was nice to have- then we got to the room..or the first room rather-the deadbolt on the door did not work and there was a really large fly in the room flying around. We went to the front and told them it was not working and that we didn’t feel safe staying in it..they gave us a different room and we thought all was well..needless to say we were wrong. I will say the AC worked wonderfully and the rainfall shower was great but when I say the beds were HORRIBLE I am not exaggerating..the beds were thinner and lumpy we were able to feel the springs so sleeping well was not a thing..the sheets were horrendous and someone NEEDS to tell them fabric softener is a thing because if you were to have me feel sand paper and those sheets blindfolded.. I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. When we checked out the woman was nice, cordial, apologized for the issue with the door, and thanked us for staying. Overall it was a bit of a let down and we will likely not be staying again.

I was in town for work and had to extend my trip a couple times. It was a pretty busy week for hotels, and rates were high and rooms were booking up fasr, but Theresa helped ensure i was able to extend my stay and avoid switching hotels. Great service and definitely will stay again when I'm in town.

Booked this for the proximity to Uptown Theater. Its about a 4 minute drive. Theres a fitness center and a breakfast. No one checked to see if we had booked a breakfast or not. Good quality food in my opinion! Room was clean and had towel animals! The property has a very modern look and feel, but lots of obvious wear and tear. Didn't affect anything except aesthetics although it begs the question: if the property can't afford upkeep, what else is it cutting corners on?Overall I would stay here again.

Great hotel but horrible overnight service. Went to fly out on an early flight and could not get out of the locked parking lot as the “overnight” desk person was no where to be found and after 20 minutes of being trapped and no one opening the gate my wife went in, found the station and released us. Had I been alone would have never worked. I cannot imagine a worse position to place your guests. There is a reason it’s rated a 3 star hotel. Rest of the stay was great but this is so bad and caused us to race to make our flights definitely not a repeat stay.

I stayed for two nights, and from check in to check out, I was treated warmly by all the staff--from David at the front desk, to your awesome GM. Breakfast was fun! (European style) with assorted cheeses, prosciutto, fresh berries and more. Room was very clean, very comfortable. I had a meeting in downtown, and this location was maybe 10-15 minutes away; very convenient. Looking forward to coming back, and thank you for making me feel so welcome!

Rooms were clean and comfy, I appreciated the staffs willingness to help when needed. This was great place to stay when on business a trip, it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was delicious 😋. Checking in and out was really smooth and the room cleaning did an excellent job tiding up.
