Trails End Resort

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! It was perfect for our needs: comfortable, well-equipped, and in a great location. The cabin’s location was perfect for our family, only being 45 - 90 minutes away from our various destinations. The cabin’s peaceful setting and charm only made the location that much more perfect. The cabin is one of several that share a beautiful community outdoor space, which created a sweet connection with other families staying there. The resort offers so much for guests to enjoy: kayaks, a paddleboard, and a paddleboat were all available to use, along with tons of sand toys, fairy garden accessories, picnic tables, and beach chairs. The water was crystal clear and shallow, making it perfect for kids to swim and play safely. Flotation devices and noodles were even provided! We had a small issue with the water heater, but the host was incredibly responsive and had it resolved the very next day. Throughout our stay, communication was excellent, and we truly felt cared for. We’re already talking about when we can return to this sweet little resort. My family of 13 (and all of our dogs!) rented the whole resort for the week and we couldn’t have had a better time! We had ages 2 to 80 years and everyone loved it so much. We did the pontoon rental which was a nice add on for fishing and swimming. We had a few days of wind which didn’t allow for us to take the boat out much during the day but that’s just weather for ya. The kayaks and peddle boat were so much fun to have as extras and it kept the kids busy for hours. Lots of crayfish hunting too! The water is very clear and shallow which was great for the younger kids. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the cabins because the weather was so nice but they are very clean and cozy with everything you need in them. We’re already planning our next trip back next summer!

Adam was absolutely amazing. Very customer oriented. The “Bear” cabin was clean and comfortable! Easy check in and check out. Although Mother Nature didn’t cooperate, me and my grandson had great time. Will use these cabins in the future. Thanks for making my grandson’s first trip to the UP enjoyable!!

We stayed as a family in June. The cabins are such a good size for a small family, I love that there’s multiple cabins for bigger groups. The cabins are clean and updated. The views are gorgeous and the lake was great to swim in. I’d highly recommend if you want to stay at a resort that’s maintained well, with great views at a great price.

Bear Cabin was perfect! Excellent View, comfortable beds, clean, fully equipped kitchen. Our host Adam was helpful, responsive and provided pleasant conversation. We were there the last couple of weeks in May for a fishing trip with our fur baby Wilson, He loved the woods around the property, all the new smells, and a met a new buddy, Harper, Adam’s fur baby! Big Manistique Lake is beautiful, No luck with catching walleye this trip, but we managed to catch several 4+ pound smallmouth bass!! 🎣. Resort’s new owner is great! He makes himself available for any needs at anytime, is keeping it nice and clean while adding improvements. Loves ideas for changes and made stay great. We will definitely keep returning yearly. Thank you Adam.

Our family of 5 from 5 to 40 had a great stay. Cabin was clean had everything we needed and the swings, kayaks, and pontoon made for a great stay!

Communication was seamless—he was professional, responsive, and always available to answer any questions. The cabin itself was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We felt welcomed and cared for throughout our visit.
