This is an amazing B&B. And I have highly recommended it to friends, family , and my Facebook page and even shared with our tour guide from Glasgow. There are not enough words to describe the comfort level all 4 of us gals from the USA felt while staying here . Allan and his wife have done an amazing job with beautiful decor , comfortable bedding , cleanliness and just an overall welcoming feeling . Had I known we would have booked a much longer stay being as it is located so close to several major cities for traveling too and from ! Thank you Station House and Allan for a fantastic experience !

I stayed here last weekend. It's a really great place. My fiancée and I had a perfect night's sleep followed by an exceptionally good breakfast. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Absolutely fantastic. I'm from Leeds and was working up that way. Work booked me in at the last minute for 1 night. They went above on beyond to make me feel welcome. Even rang the local pub to book me a table for my tea. Both were very friendly and there was a lovely warm, happy feeling about the place. The rooms were very comfortable and well kitted out. The breakfast was sensational with a large choice of cooked and cold options. Could not recommend highly enough. If your up that way it is the place to stay.

We stayed here last night, (26th April) and have to say, we fell in love with this place, we had a wedding to go to and they let us have the room early to get changed, which was a nice touch, very welcoming couple who put so much pride and joy into everything they do, and it pays off well. Very clean and tidy, Alan showed us around with a Scottish welcome, room was spotless, beautiful decor throughout, breakfast was outstanding, and sets you up for the day. 10/10 will be back to try your lodge with hot tub in the near future, Jake and Mandy.

Alan is a true gentleman who goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The rooms are beautiful, spotless and have all you need. The bed was comfy and we both slept well. Breakfast was delicious, especially the sausages which tasted amazing! We look forward to staying again.

We have visited Alan on quite a few occasions now and his welcome never falters. It's excellent. Always warm and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble.|The rooms are furnished to a very high standard with an excellent quality finish. The bed was amazing.|The bed linen is outstanding and his towels are the fluffiest ever.|And if that's not enough to make you want to go back then his breakfast should do the trick. The nicest Scottish breakfast with the most delicious homemade porridge you could wish for. Non of that microwave stuff!|Thank you Alan for another lovely stay. |Until next time||Sarah & Tim 😊

Great B & B with a warm welcome from Alan. The room was spotless and large. Very comfortable bed and a brilliant breakfast. Lovely peaceful location just a short drive from the main road. We would definitely use Alan's place again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the B &B to family and friends.
