Awesome fried chicken we walked in on a buffet . Chicken being fried and replaced as pan run short. Coleslaw, potato salad, mashed with chicken gravy and soft dinner rolls . I didn't find anything I didn't like First timer here glad we took 10 minutes off of 29 hwy to try Sneaky's Chicken out was not disappointed 😋 😜 !

Sneakys has been there a long time and there is nowhere to go that has any better chicken than they do. I always go there and order an order of gizzards and they're wonderful! The delicious chicken is juicy and crispy. They have a buffet every day if you're interested in that it's a really nice one. I think the buffet is Monday through Friday I have not checked. You can go in the front door or the back. There are tables or boosts to sit in. And you can order drinks.

The Good: Outstanding service despite heavy volume Buffet style allows you to see exactly what you're getting Decent salad bar offerings The Disappointing: The chicken itself, unfortunately, didn't live up to the hype. As someone familiar with broasted chicken technique, I was disappointed to find the chicken lacked proper seasoning and, more critically, showed signs of being overcooked. Properly broasted chicken should have that beautiful golden color without the dark browning or hard crust that I observed here. My Theory: I suspect many of the glowing reviews stem from the buffet format - there's something appealing about unlimited fried chicken that can overshadow quality issues. However, as someone who values technique over quantity, I'd rather have one perfectly executed piece than a buffet of mediocre ones. Bottom Line: Sneaky's is okay if you're looking for a casual buffet experience with decent service, but for truly exceptional broasted chicken, I'd recommend making the drive to Lally's in Le Mars instead. The difference in execution and flavor is worth the extra miles. Would I return? Probably not, unless I was specifically craving a buffet experience over quality chicken.

Rarely give any restaurant give stars, but if fried chicken is what you're after, this place is hard to beat! My wife hates fried food of any kind, including chicken, and so I expected to have plenty of cold chicken to eat later. She absolutely loved it, eating four pieces! I can't think of any fried chicken I've eaten that is better than Sneaky's. Made to order so it's very fresh. Many times you'll go to a fried food restaurant and get an idea of the flavor before you actually get it because you can smell the oil that's been used far too long. The first thing I noticed when I walked in is that it just smelled like really good fried chicken. A couple of customers who walked in after me said the same thing. I took mine to go but they offer sufficient seating and even a lunch buffet. The sides are what you'd expect; the coleslaw was very good. Their chicken is what sets this place apart from any other place!

I've had the buffet and the made to order supper. Both are amazing. This isn't KFC, there is no wing sitting on the shelf. When you get your chicken it comes straight from the kitchen, piping hot. You can taste the difference! I highly recommend stopping in to Sneaky's and enjoying their food.

When we heard Dan Vaughan start talking about Sneaky's Chicken on the Sioux City Explorers shows our interest was piqued. When Dan mentioned that it was broasted chicken my girlfriend started planning a weekend trip to Sioux City (we're from Independence Missouri). I reminded her that our Kansas City Monarchs were playing in Sioux City the following weekend. So we made the trip up from our city to theirs to see a baseball game but mainly for broasted chicken. Believe me when I tell you this is the best broasted chicken we've ever had and we've been on a mission in recent years to find as many versions of it as we could. The breading is well seasoned and VERY flavorful the meat is seasoned as well but also pretty damn moist. My only gripe was that the ranch was too thick for my taste. Thanks to Sneaky's Chicken for advertising their wonderful chicken with the Sioux City Explorers and thanks to Dan Vaughan for sharing the word with us. We'll be back many times for this chicken.

1st time visiting. It was a buffet. She said it was $12.99 and that included drink. I assumed the ticket would be more. It actually was that. The chicken was very good. Service was very kind and never was out of my drink. It was really good. I loved the atmosphere.
