I stayed for 2 nights with my elderly mum and dog. From the moment we set foot in the Coorie Inn the staff were welcoming, efficient and knowledgeable. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated and comfortable, albeit slightly tight around the sides of the bed. ||We ate our meals in the bar because of my dog, that said, we still had fantastic service and the food was exceptionally good, as was the atmosphere. My mum thought the BlackBerry soufflé was her best dessert ever! The generous breakfasts set us up for the day. ||The location was perfect, being close to Crieff and Gleneagles, in the heart of the beautiful Perthshire country site. Muthill really is a delightful village.||I would definitely return to The Coorie Inn.

Just had a wonderful evening and overnight at The Coorie Inn. Dinner was absolutely delicious and I had one of the best night's sleep in a hotel ever.|I should say it is a restaurant with rooms so certainly our room wasn't large but it had everything we needed with the most comfortable bed and bedding. The rooms are well supplied with coffee maker, tea and biscuits. The shower room was small but again was well supplied with lovely toiletries, shower caps etc and fluffy towels.|Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional. The whole place had a lovely atmosphere with style but also a complete lack of pretence. I should say the young lady and gentleman who were front of house our whole stay were absolutely delightful. They were friendly but also very knowledgable about their food, wines etc.|I would not hesitate to recommend this little gem and look forward to a return visit.

Thank you Andrew for looking after us so well on both our dinner and breakfast experience.||All in all this place is a real gem and I’ll be sure to book again for a relaxing, cosy get away. ||Coorie Inn….just perfect

I'd heard great things about Coorie Inn but only managed my first visit for Sunday lunch yesterday. It was a fantastic experience. Warm and friendly welcome as soon as we came in. Shown to our table in a beautiful, stylish dining room. Sensational food, wine and service. No wonder it was fully booked. Thank you, we'll be back soon!

The food was amazing, premium locally sourced produce, cooked and presented to perfection. Breakfast too was delicious. The rooms, dining room and bar are beautifully decorated. We wish the team lots of success, definitely one to watch for stars - it’s a hidden gem!

We had the Sunday roast menu early evening then stayed the night. Everything was spot on from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Especially nice was one of the two owners who spent a long time advising us on how buy and keep wine at home, giving us tips and insights from their restaurant knowledge. The new owners clearly have the passion, talent and business know-how to make this establishment fly. You often see two of the three, but only the best places have all three at the same time.

A nice place to stay, but not quite as much scope to coorie in as expected. The rooms are not spacious (except Room 1), but they are well appointed and nicely decorated, with a large (very soft) bed. No thermostat on the radiator meant the room was cold on arrival and hot in the night. The shower room was adequate, but we found it annoying not to have anywhere to put anything in the shower cubicle (including the toiletry dispensers provided) other than on the floor. Also, the damaged showerhead had not been replaced, despite having apparently been reported previously. The public area consists of a large dining room and small lounge/bar. The bar has comfy seating only for about four or five people, and when we went down for pre-dinner drinks at 6.30pm these were occupied and the log fire (nice touch) was almost out (not so good). Unfortunately, the central 'feature' log burning stove in the dining room was also left unattended, and had gone out by about 7.30pm. Dinner was very good, as expected, although it was slightly annoying how many things, including vegetables, were charged as extras on top of the 'dinner, bed & breakfast' rate. As we often find in places majoring on their dinners, the breakfast was very disappointing. Our choice from the menu was restricted, the only coffee available was standard 'filter', and the cooked breakfast, while generous, was all pre-cooked in that tired, greasy way that lazy breakfast chefs excel at.
