such a hidden gem!! incredible food (dough all made in house and WOW) & the owner was so nice. Many options for dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegan etc). Decorated nicely inside & loved the music playing. Great atmosphere. Would highly recommend!! We also got burekas in addition to what’s pictured and it was amazing - can’t go wrong!

Wow!! I am blown away by how fresh and delicious all of our food was! We got the chefs bread to start with the dippings and it was perfect. The bread was freshly baked and soft. Also had the two specials of the day: lamb risotto and the tenderloin gnocchi. It was absolutely delicious! Portion sizes are good and flavor is 10/10. Make this your next dinner spot!

Wow! What a gem. This charming little spot is not to be missed. The chef and owner clearly knows his food and each dish is thoughtfully prepared. He greeted us warmly and was especially kind to our young child, which made the experience even better. Everything we ordered was better than expected. The short rib gnocchi special was rich and tender, the fish with ravioli was perfectly balanced in spice, tang and creaminess and the goat cheese cheesecake was the ideal finish, creamy, sweet on top, and unforgettable. Dishes came out piping hot. After catching a glimpse of our neighbors’ plates, we knew we needed more to try the bread, which helped us savor the sauces even more, so we ordered the bread twice. I left already plotting what to try next time.

This place is fantastic! We came here for dinner and absolutely loved everything we got. The chefs bread with the Jerusalem bagel is a must get! We also loved the gnocchi and the special of the night which was lamb risotto. I highly recommend!

This place doesn’t make any sense. It’s too good to be true. The owner, Roi, is a gourmet trained chef. He moves to the U.S. and sets up this little whole-in-the-wall restaurant and serves these fantastic, gourmet Mediterranean meals in a takeout setting. Saves me $ on dining in a fancy place! Or I can sit at a table and savor the culinary delights. The place is small but quaint and I’ve come back time and again to sit and chill with a meal or take it home. This place is a gem. Nice to catch it when it’s not too busy. I wish them well but hopefully doesn’t get so popular and busy that it’s no longer my hidden culinary treasure.

We finally decided to give Gveenah a try, and we were absolutely blown away. The food is on par with what you'd expect from a high-end restaurant. We ordered the Tuna Ceviche and the Goat Cheese Salad. Both were incredible and bursting with flavor. We're so glad we came! The service was exceptionally warm and welcoming, with big smiles all around. The Chef even took the time to ask a few questions and personally recommended dishes tailored to our tastes. Bottom line: This is a must try hidden gem in West Hartford. We can’t wait to go back this weekend!

Ordered the ceviche, lamb kebab and cucumber spritzer. All 10/10. Honestly the best lamb kebab I have had anywhere, including the Mediterranean. The sauces and flavor of the lamb is phenomenal. I would eat it everyday if I could. The cucumber Spritzer is light and refreshing.

This is a fantastic restaurant to get your next meal. My fiancé and I decided to finally try Gveenah, And we were not let down at all. I had a cup of chamomile tea. He had the tahini milkshake. While I do love tea, the brand they use is really good. The Tahiti milkshake had me in beverage envy. We split a chicken Shawarma with tzatziki. That was amazing, when I go again, I’m not sharing that. My fiancé got the beef Ragu tagliatelle pasta. The pasta is fresh, and you taste every vegetable that they used in the Ragu. I got the creamy salmon tagliatelle. The flavor was light and vibrant. There were fresh tomatoes in it, and the pasta and salmon were cooked perfectly. Even though we were a bit full from dinner, we couldn’t resist trying desert. We ordered the lemon cream, which has the most amazing lemon curd in it. It’s definitely a one person dessert and the flavors are balanced very well in it with marshmallow on top and a salty crumb topping and fresh mint. We also ordered the caramel cheesecake which can be a two person dessert. I’m not sure what they put in their caramel sauce, but it is absolutely delicious.
