Fantastic 12 bed hotel on the edge of this pretty town overlooking the river. Converted a few years ago from an old warehouse into a cool contemporary Swiss chalet style with very thoughtful touches and finishes. We were upgraded to a top floor double height room with river views. Breakfast was fabulous and high quality. Cosy bar on the ground floor. Service from all the staff exceptional. Faultless.

Love the Albion for ambiance, I met 2 girlfriends ona Saturday morning for coffee and catchup in Cardigan. Perfect! Good coffee nice green tea. There’s been an upgrade on the water situation, seeing that (unlike frequently in the past) you had proper sparking water. The ‘free’ water sadly still tasted of chlorine, and on request was told it’s straight out of the tap. That in my humble opinion in Ceredigion, won’t go. Especially not for a prestigious joint like the Albion. Filtering water is a no brainer. We all felt like a bit of cake, most of my girlfriends are gluten free, so it would have been nice, out of the 3 lots of cakes, that one would have been vegan and or gluten free.

Friends took me here for my birthday. We had cocktails. Delicious variety. Best we’ve had for years. Staff professional and charming. Decor attractive, moody lighting. Thoroughly recommend. Perfect before seeing a film at Theatr Mwldan

Gorgeous hotel. ||Everything was absolutely perfect. Thoughtful attention to detail, variation of teas and coffee bags in the room, lovely shampoos and conditioner to use in the shower. ||Staff were perfect. Chilled and attentive.||Lovely service in the bar, great cocktails.||Breakfast was fantastic, loved the ambient music in the background! ||My gosh we'll be back.

There are some places that make you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in through the door and this place does that, most welcome on a cold February day. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was compact but cosy and incredibly well laid out, the bed was soo comfortable, the shower powerful with gorgeous smelling products and the breakfast was delicious ( muesli to die for). In short, there wasn't anything I didn't like. Will definitely be returning

Fantastic 2 night stay as others have posted about. The cocktails are perfect, well made and with some ingenious. It's a top rated accommodation for a reason. Don't hesitate to book. Worth paying the bit extra.

Beautiful spot for a drink any time of year. Nice choice of cocktails and drinks to choose from with local beer and gin. The drinks are a little pricy however the setting is beautiful.

This is a very original maritime themed hotel. Steeped in history in a lovely river setting |Our whole two night stay was beyond expectations, and we certainly plan to return for a cosy late autumn visit.||Positives are so numerous… our room had everything we needed, amazing view, compact but very functional bathroom, I loved the power shower. Very comfortable bed and quality bedding ensured a great night’s sleep. I liked all the shelves and storage options, so practical, but naturally blended in to the cabin experience. ||Breakfast was unusual, scandi style smorgasbord and thoroughly enjoyable, fantastic fresh produce, great coffee and lovely ambient music made a great start to the day.||The staff were amazing, so chilled , attentive and engaging.
