We were booked in for a spa weekend and the allocated accommodation was the farmhouse up by the spa due to lack of twin rooms in the main hotel.||Firstly what didn’t go so well… car park near the spa/our accommodation was packed and we struggled to park… we wanted to have a light lunch before our mid afternoon treatment but soon found out the reason the car park was busy….2 for 1 food offer at The Lounge restaurant open to the public and the gym/swimming pool patrons parking there.||Next time I would book a table in advance (just didn’t know this was going to be an issue at a spa) Also if you’re a guest in the farmhouse maybe allocated spaces might have been nice for paying residents. It’s not far from the main carpark but we had luggage to carry (note: there is a golf buggy service if you don’t mind waiting, but it was rainy and windy unfortunately 😉)||There is a limited room service menu in that accommodation (pizzas only, we weren’t made aware in advance when I booked) but the Reception staff were amazing and let us order from the main hotel room service menu and delivered it hot …. Thank you so much for that, the food was also very good!||Little kerfuffle over robes but again the Reception staff were apologetic and responsive hence why it still gets 5 stars!|| What did go so well… as the reviews say…. The staff are so so good, courteous, responsive and very friendly. ||Accommodation is nice… temple spa and Neil & Wolf products, tea and coffee making facilities, comfy beds…. I do think signs to the various tree-themed rooms would be good, we went in 3 doors in the dark til we got to our room 😂😂😂 ||Spa is beautiful. Spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff (again), lots of different experiences.||Treatments were lovely… Signature experience and a Temple Spa facial… all very good||Didn’t realise food would be such high quality but the tapas was lovely, indoor fire pits, cocktails … 🥰||Woodland walk in the morning and straight to a really good buffet breakfast. No pig lamps and low quality produce here, it was really fresh and tasty.||It’s definitely not the cheapest spa experience but it was one of the best I’ve had

From the minute we arrived the lady in reception at the spa was so welcoming and helpful. Giving us the option to check in at the hotel and charge items to our room if we found it easier. |Then we met the lovely Lorna in the spa who offered us the option to eat at Bertram's in our robes and then continue to enjoy the spa until it closed. Nothing was too much trouble for her. |Then the lovely Martin who kindly drove us between the hotel and spa. |My treatment was with Ruby who was lovely and friendly and gave me the most amazing massage. |The spa itself and the hotel where out of this world but the staff were something else. |The meal in Bertram's was delicious and a great recommendation from Lorna. We enjoyed the rooftop pool in the dark as well as the jacuzzi. |Bubbles in the room were lovely and breakfast at Wilfred's was the perfect end to our stay. |Definitely would recommend and look forward to visiting again!

Just home from an amazing overnight stay at Crow Wood. My friend and I had booked the bubbles and bliss package and it was fantastic. We had a day in the spa which was beyond all expectation and a fantastic overnight stay in the hotel. The facilities were phenomenal but what made our trip extra special was the staff, everyone we spoke to was incredibly friendly and so knowledgeable, from Lorna and Abbie in the spa to all the ladies on reception and the lovely Martin who treated us to a drive in the most amazing Rolls Royce. I've never stayed anywhere which has made me feel so welcome it was an absolute joy and we will definitely be back!

Modern hotel, excellent suite with lounge area, very solid building and very quiet which is good. Restaurant offering in the hotel was very good. The Woodland Spa - good and bad - the good - its one of the best pool / spa complexes I have ever been to, with 4 pools, various hot tubs inside and out on the roof, various steam, sauna, ice rooms. Overall excellent. The bad - the hotel website shows you photos from the spa, but isn't clear that its an extra charge and its quite a lot - £85 per person. I mean if the hotel is called Crow Wood hotel & Spa, it naturally sounds like its included. The hotel does have access to a pool/gym which can only be described as like a local authority sports centre - very boring 25m pool. This is in the same building as the Woodland Spa which makes it even more confusing. Also hotel basically off a motorway roundabout - not great location. If I ran the hotel I'd make it clear and also offer easy package to have room + spa as one price rather than turn up and find its not included. Also - STUPID "Incidentals charge" of £100 put on credit card. We assume that meant we could charge items to our room - like drinks in the spa - but no - we go back to the reception having been declined to be able to order against our room and they say "no its in case there is any damage to the room", I said thats not "incidentals", thats "accident", and surely that would be the hotels issue (insurance) not a guest ? I said what is the policy ? no policy given. What if I break a glass - do you charge me ? no answer given. "Its in case you smoke in the room, for cleaning charge". THEN WHY NOT SAY THAT AT CHECK IN A ITS REALLY REALLY ANNOYING AND MISLEADING.

I booked a little getaway at Crow Wood Hotel & Spa for my husband’s birthday, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The room was immaculate, spacious, and offered a stunning view. Breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste, and the drinks were perfectly chilled and refreshing. We loved the buggy ride from the hotel to the spa – such a charming and thoughtful touch! The spa itself was outstanding, with an impressive selection of pools to enjoy. We ordered drinks at the poolside, and the strawberry mojito and strawberry daiquiri were exactly what we needed – refreshing and absolutely delightful 😋. We also indulged in a rooftop pizza, which was both delicious and memorable. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout our stay, which made the whole experience feel even more special. Overall, we had a fabulous time and will most certainly be returning!

My partner and I enjoyed our first visit to the Spa & Hotel. We booked a spa day with treatments, meals, and an overnight stay in a luxury double room. The booking process was straightforward, but be aware that the hotel isn't connected to the spa, which confused some guests. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, and we paid a £100 deposit for room charges. We were offered a buggy ride to the spa's entrance. The spa facilities were clean, well-equipped, and not overcrowded. We enjoyed the outdoor areas. While I prefer some facilities at Bath Thermae Spa, Woodland offered more choices and better dining. We enjoyed our massages and the meals at Bertram's restaurant, where service was attentive despite being busy. Our hotel room was spacious, with lovely views and all necessary amenities. However, there were some drawbacks: we were informed of a potential cyber scam after booking, which was concerning. Set meal times were restrictive, and unclear dress codes were frustrating, especially when I was refused service at the outdoor bar while waiting for my partner because I was wearing clothes. The room's TV had poor connectivity for streaming, and we weren't allowed to sit outside at breakfast, nor was dairy-free milk readily available. Overall, it was still a 5-star experience despite these issues.
