Friendly efficient staff. Superb breakfast served at your table which is fantastic and excellent value. Nice bar to have a drink or eat. There's some outside seating too. Rooms are a little shabby and will be easier to clean after the planned refurbishment. Items in the room such as the radio, the TV remote and the lamp shade were dirty. However, the lovely fresh white bath towels breakfast and friendly staff more than made for it. Parking is £10 for 24 hrs in the car park two doors away. Would definitely stay here again and hopefully by the next visit the rooms will have improved 🤞

The White Hart Ampthill provided a very high quality wedding service for us within their Stables function room. To us, the venue was perfect for an intimate, relaxed wedding. We had good communication from the very beginning with a dedicated team who took great care and attention to make sure everything was planned and executed to our requests. On the day, team members were around to support with the execution of the day right through to the end. The food options were great and delivered to a high quality on the day. We were particularly impressed and appreciative of the level of effort and attention to detail with table setup and turnaround between wedding breakfast and late night reception. The time, care, and effort the team went to was above our expectations and really made the day special. We would highly highly recommend this venue to those looking for a wedding venue in Bedfordshire, or for any other function. Thank you again White Hart!

We ❤️❤️ coming here when we’re out walking our dogs we not local. This was our 3rd time yesterday 25/10/25 normally just have a few drinks but we had a bite to eat yesterday just some sandwiches & they were lovely, the vibe & atmosphere is always good that’s Y we come here, we keep saying we gonna come here for a proper meal as menu looks good but without the dogs.

Five stars from me. We celebrated my daughters wedding here yesterday and I can not rate the staff here enough. They made the whole day so special from the start til the very end. Especially Phoebe and Mark. Housekeeping was spot on! The rooms were very clean and comfy beds. The food is amazing and again the staff are faultless.

Chose with pub for lunch for its vegan opinions. Very busy and hard to find a table. Alex behind the bar was incredible helpful. The food was excellent as was the vegan red wine. Crazy atmosphere because a major bike race was on but I had a really good experience here.

Value for money was extremely disappointing. I paid £185 for an executive room (room only) which, just one day later, is priced at £78. The room itself was small, dated, and not clean. Paint was peeling from the walls, the carpet had visible stains, and the shower was filthy—limescale buildup on the shower head and general lack of cleanliness were unacceptable. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, with springs digging into us throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep. For a stay that ended up costing over £200 (once parking and a very average breakfast were added), the experience was far below expectations. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

This pub has changed hands so many times and still can’t get it right !! If there is a wedding on, don’t bother !!! They can’t handle both. Waited 20 minutes before they asked about drinks then it 35 minutes to tell me the wine I ordered was not available !! Another 10 minutes to come with the alternative! Waited a good hour before our first course arrived. By this time the restaurant was thinning out and there were 4 tables still full of dirty plates that we had to look at for the duration of our meals. My starter were bland, but edible the other was dry because it had been under the lamps too long. The main was reasonable, over cooked and a bit dry, burgers are easy to cook! By the time our food had arrived we were no longer hungry ! Waiting over 2 hours !!!!! So we tried and tried but won’t be going there again, this was about our 6th attempt on a Saturday, but as stated if there is a wedding don’t bother

Attended my son‘s wedding venue was great the staff were absolutely brilliant. The wedding breakfast was a letdown as not enough came out , and the rooms were absolutely disgraceful. Filthy dirty!!!!!!
