Went to the restaurant for a Sunday Lunch and had a really great time. The food was amazing. I will warn that the portions are absolutely on the big side so either bring an appetite or skip the starter if you want to make sure you eat everything. Will absolutely go here again. Lovely.

Service first class, professional but relaxed, nothing a problem, made to feel so welcome and lovely atmosphere. Food was fantastic with great sized portions, 25 min drive for me but now it’s my new local.

WOW! This pub got me a taxi and a good meal all at a very low price. and when me taxi came early, they even packed up the food for us! never have i eaten such amazing jacket potatoes, and in such a beautiful building with amazing and friendly staff. just wow!

Stayed in a triple room 8-9th Aug.Food was lovely but room very tired.Water stains on the ceiling,no free toiletries provided and sink tap was loose,had to hold it to get hot water .Sky tv didn’t work. Very disappointed with the room

Excellent team and great food, really exceptional. The rooms are tired but the main thing for me is the bed is fresh and clean and it was thank you for looking after us.

Came here for a meal tonight with parents for their birthdays and couldn't say enough about how lovely everything was. Every staff member we spoke to was happy to help and the food was brilliant too. Decently priced and were even kind enough to go out of their way to give my parents a little birthday dessert too. Thank you! :)

A hidden little gem. Met up with a friend for lunch as its sort of half way for both of us to drive and meet . I had a combo platter, the other half had a burger and our friend had salmon salad. We were very impressed with the food, the way it was cooked, how much food was on the plates. Its definitely going to be our meet up spot from now on. The lady serving was friendly and polite, the pub clean and cosy and lots of outside space. It was quiet when we went on a Monday but I would imagine it gets quite busy on holidays and weekends.

Great pub with beautiful food!! The staff are always friendly and the food is reasonably priced for portion size and often has offers on. We have been a few times as a family and have never been disappointed!!
