Barney's Diner

Parked here for the first time on my break as a lorry driver. Walked inside and the queue was long with it being bank holiday Monday but about 10 seconds after walking in a young girl waiting tables asked if I was a lorry driver on my break and asked if she could take my order while I was in the queue. By the time I got to the front my food was ready which was perfect. Fantastic food and fantastic service, I will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I are traveling on holiday to Yorkshire with our pup, Barney's was recommended by my Father-in-law from his days as a coach driver! We were not disappointed. The dog friendly area was already occupied, but the staff were so accommodating and still found us a suitable table! The food was lovely and satisfying, especially since they kindly allowed us to order not off the menu. It was too hot for me and all I could manage was a salad, but this was no trouble for them. So kind! The staff were all friendly, the service was quick, the other customers were considerate and friendly. So glad we stopped here on our long journey (traveling from Bournemouth)! Thank you Barney's.

Nice place and has a dog corner. So we got to eat in with the pooch. Who got a doggy box breakfast.

Always stop for a cuppa and any combination of sausage/bacon/egg bap. Plenty of other options available. It's a Diner/Truck stop so no airs and graces but good service, good food, and good value! Would recommend.

This place is a little gem in my opinion! The food is always Top Notch and the Liver & Bacon is to die for, But then again so is the Chicken Curry ! The full breakfast is phenomenal to say the least ❤️ The Staff are really pleasant and nice ! Well worth a visit id say !

Amazing food, top notch customer service! Have to mention the young woman with braces who served us, the embodiment of good customer service. Oh and the toilets are clean and include a shower? Will be returning no doubt.

Good friendly place. With plenty of space reserved for trucks. Much better in every way than motorway services. And a field adjoining where I walked the dogs

Fantastic little place, first time stopping and will stop again for sure, plenty space for parking when arrived, great value on parking and including proper meal voucher, food was fantastic and the staff were great, I didn't get any names but the two girl on in the evening where very friendly and one of them had to deal with a very rude man, who spoke to her in a very belittling tone and she behaved very professionally. Also an older lady in the morning filled up a bottle of water for me to top the truck up, often Immingham way, and definitely going to make this my spot for overnight if the tacho gods allow!
